A conversation at work about 2 years ago...
Me: "Damn bud. you look like shit today. You party last night or something."
Veteran Coworker: "No. The dreams came back last night. Woke up about 2 am and couldn't get back to sleep...
Me: "Shit man...Don't know what to say..."
Coworker: "Na. Don't worry bout it. Just means I'll sleep well tonight..."
Me: "Hey man!"
Coworker: "Yeah?"
Me: "Thank you."
Thank you to those of you who endure these dreams, so we are free to pursue ours.
In other news. Last week I story-boarded 22 pages of comic for the third chapter after this one. Its going to be a pivotal chapter and I am really looking forward to its arrival. Although as I hit the end of it, I realized just where this means the story will have to go. Something sad.
Anyhow this is the last page of this chapter. Its hanging because the chapter was originally HUGE and I decided to split it in two to pursue the topic of the next chapter which needed to be told first. I think folks will like the next chapter. I know I penned the best page in the whole comic in it.
On another note, this weekend I finally decided to swing by and check out The Whiteboard. I had heard good things about it but was intimidated in my looking through the archive because it is over 1000 comics and I didn't have the connection in the hotel, or the time. This weekend I broke down. Holy moly. I nearly split a gut laughing. Those of you who have seen me go over the top in my own silly comics can see why I love this one. The arc with the shaped charges on the fridge, to remove the tentacle monster growing in the back rack had me dying. "MY DEW!!!"
Anyhow. I Strongly recommend this comic as a read. I think I am going to make a fan trib cameo with it in my next CTC entry.
