Sorry about last week. I went to a two week stretch of work, but only scanned one page so last Monday arrived and... no strip to upload.
Today, I went to start the dialogue of the comic and...I left the dialogue sheets at home. Fortunately this page was a light dialogue one so I was able to just do it on the fly. Next week is light dialogue also. If I leave the script after, that though, I am screwed.
Oh. Last Sunday marks the 5th year of BTS. Has it been 5 years already? I am currently scribling on page 151, today's is page 142, so I am at around 30 a year. With all the hiatus and work related garbage and misses like last week that is about right.
As for todays. The end of the "Skirmishers" chapter. A rather pivotal one in the story for the supporting cast. And for the regiment. The reputation continues to build.
Interesting production note. I drew everything to the left of the house out of scale with the right of the house. So I scanned it all in. Lassoed the Left side and cut it to a new layer which I then scaled down about 15% and then merged and touched up with the tablet. The fix worked rather seamlessly I think. I have used this and several other tricks to fix idiot artist mistakes on several occasions. I like Photoshop. =)
